Basically whenever I feel like it. If you’re not on my friends list you don’t have a thing to worry about.

Bruh, it's social media. You can brag about the color and consistency of your kid's bowel movements.

quote:

People think they need to post every single little thing that goes on in their lives. Nobody gives a shite.

And then the kid gets a false sense of superiority and quite honestly a big head thinking hes hot mess only to be forgotten about once they hit high school when athletics become real.

Ive seen this a thousand times.

What I DON’T like is when someone is clearly seeking sympathy for something that happened because they had an episode of stupidity. I’m really not that sensitive to people’s feelings unless they’re in my inner circle ??

Your friends and family members who like sports might be interested. That’s about it. I post stuff mostly for family.

Unless their achievments required overcoming something outside of their control(birth/developmental issue, catastrophic injury or potentially fatal/dilapidating disease), then never. If you want to give praise/admiration to your child, then tell it to them in person. That's something that should be kept between a parent and child as it's genuine, airing it out on social media screams look at me. And beyond that, any reasonable adult should be able to empathize with other kids that see those posts and the impact it has on them when they don't receive the same admiration from their own parents

I must not run in the same social media circles as this thread.

I see parents brag on their kids for getting Cs.
