Husband and wife on first night of marriage and husband tosses his jeans to his wife and says put those on. The wife replied I can’t wear your pants and the husband says that’s right I wear the pants in this family…. The. Wife then tossed her underpants to husband and says … here try these on… the husband says I can’t get into your panties… the wife responds.. that’s right and it’s gonna stay that way until your attitude changes……

This right here. Love is not an emotion, but rather a series of choices and especially choices in the most difficult times. Wife's grandmother said right after marriage that you have good years and bad years, great years and awful years and even good and bad decades. She passed shortly after her husband in their late 90s and we're married 70+ years.
I've thought about this a lot lately along with some life changes and I don't believe we truly Love the person we marry when we say I do. We choose them to spend a life with and build a family with and then learn to Truly Love them through the choices and decisions we make together through the inevitable hell life will present us all with. It's a hell of a bumpy ride, but I believe the deep joy that raising a family with someone else that is truly committed to that task is well worth it all in the end.

Most people don’t marry the wrong person, they just don’t make it work.
Marriage takes work. It’s not like the movies where you have your best friend who’s independent yet perfect for you.
Of course, there are many who are not compatible no matter what and they did marry the wrong person.
But I feel most of these divorces don’t put in the effort it takes to stay married.
Edit: BOTH parties have to put in the effort.
