I still make fun of homos all the time. It's dudes putting other dude's dicks in their mouths.
You're trying too hard. It gives you away.

Ellen Degeneres. I remember that episode where she came out. That was a big deal back then.

When being anything other than straight became a protected class though the power of victimhood that exists in our society.

I'm sick of Hastert, too.

Why is our culture suddenly suddenly embracing and celebrating queerness and transgenderism and somesuch things, to the point where it's constantly being bombarded at me through my television set?
It all started when Amos & Andy were taken off the air IMHO.

I don't have a problem with gay. Everyone should be happy! I have a problem hearing stories about a guy having peanuts stuck to the head of his penis after sex.

When we started accepting the freaks instead of shunning them

My dad's homespun philosophy was "to each his own." Not terribly original or profound, but it allowed him to live with a superb degree of composure and equanimity through 92 years as a participant in the human parade of folly and wisdom.
Gay, queer, bi, transgender, transvestite, metro, a-sex, undecided … "to each his own."
My dad was a smart dude.

No one is making you watch what you're watching. I haven't seen the first thing about it on TV. In this day and age where there are hundreds of channels and almost infinite content on the internet you can't find something you'd rather watch? Don't watch TV passively. Find what you like, DVR it, and enjoy. If you can't find anything on TV there are millions of books or podcasts or youtube videos to occupy your time with. Get on Khan Academy and learn something new. Stop worrying about what everyone else is doing or what they are telling you is cool.
