Same here in my part of Houston.

Earlier, it was constant fireworks & police sirens - it really sounded like the apocalypse or the intro / breakout scenes in the Last of Us / Dawn of the Dead.

I’m just trying to assemble this basketball goal in peace with a cold beer.

A lot of rain in the forecast starting soon, God has spoken.

St George sounded like a war zone at midnight.

Mayor Sid needs to get control of this sh!t.

It probably coincided with the precise instant that you became an absolute bitch.

I heard some fireworks at 11 pm tonight. I didn't realize that was a thing until tonight.

Exactly. This is the most important night of kids life. Believing some make believe fat man is coming down the chimney to give you presents, in celebration of killing a make believe man. The kids need sleep tonight. Not before their big test day.

I thought it was just an Hispanic thing. Christmas Eve is like a poor man's NYE in their culture/traditions. It's about house parties and latin dancing until the wee hours, not putting the kids to sleep for Santa. At midnight, many bring in Xmas with fireworks. Kenner was popping tonight.

My kids are grown now and doing their on thing; but when they were younger, it was a blast to blow off some fireworks with them on Christmas Eve. I really miss those days.
Now, it’s dead around here. We always had fun and were respectful enough to shut it down by 10:00. I sure miss those times with my son’s.
Enjoy them while you can.
The fireworks are lighting a path for Santa.

Hey look everybody, this guy is different! He marches to the beat of his own drummer, a supercool rebel!

Who said anything about a test day? Then in a later post you go on about how this is somehow tied to La's poor education system.

Yeah the kids need to have their 10 hours of sleep tonight and not when they have a big test or exam the next morning. No wonder why Louisiana has the worst education in the country

Where was all that coming from last night? It was in the distance and woke me up, but I could not tell what direction it was coming from.
