So one thing I’m realizing for the first time is that Vaseline is key. Third or so wipe you put some on the TP, and that helps a lot of the butthurt.

Especially if it is a GI virus that caused it. You want that out of your body.

I usually welcome diarrhea. It helps cleanse my colon.

I get it about once a year. I figure it’s my body telling me it’s time to purge the system. Don’t try and stop it. Just let nature take its course.

I poop it all out. Usually takes 3-4 times and then I don't eat. I drink water some. After about 6-8 hours of no pooping I'll drink chicken broth. If that doesn't induce more diarrhea then an hour later I'll go with some saltines. An hour after that I'll go with saltines and chicken with rice soup. If all is good then I'll go with mild starches and soup the next day. If at any point the diarrhea comes back I revert back to fasting. I'm a big believer in starving the bug out. You can't get the shits if you don't have anything TO shite.

When I was in middle school and probably 9th grade I had IBS that would always hit when I got anxious about being in a situation where having to take a poop would be embarrassing, pretty much every morning before school and bus trips to games in every sport I played. During the time when girls become of the utmost importance the worst thing in the world is raising your hand in class, asking to go to the bathroom, then coming back outside of the time frame of a piss. My Dr gave me a pill that was taken sublingual and it put my stomach to sleep, no idea what it was called but it was a miracle.

Sometimes you have to fight fire with fire.

Oddly it works....
