It's funny how polarizing this topic is. On one hand you have people that think it's weird for grown adults to go to Disney without kids, then you have another side that say they love it without kids.
I don't see this same polarization with Six Flags or water parks. Why Disney?

Paris is a goddamn train wreck, but I'd take it over a theme park all day.

It's expensive in the sense that for similar money, you can enjoy some other fairly nice places while not being surrounded by people wearing cartoon costumes. It's expensive for what you're getting.
You can say this all you want but it's just not true.

Rome and Paris are my two least favorite places in Europe. Glad I can cross them off the list, but will never go back.
There wasn't anything in particular that happened, but the whole city (both of them) were just dirty, more Rome on the dirtiness. The gypsies and Cameroonians (in Paris) trying to scam/beg/rob you at every attraction got on my nerves. The locals in both places had shite attitudes.
Overall I plan on going to other parts of Italy/France, but give me rednecks in Disney every day.

so is this it?
because GreatLakes made the same kind of comment
is the people in costumes the hang up and that's it?
because that is pretty weak

Should I get my passport out? Russia, Ukraine, UK, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, and Italy. frick, forgot Australia and Jamaica. I need to fill that thing up a lot more.
I'd rather be in Crimea in a MAGA hat with a Ukrainian flag tied around my neck than set foot in Orlando.

You're either trying to be an idiot or it just comes naturally to you.
I was talking about what you get for the money. You can make it an extremely economical trip on a tight budget.

Pecker,
First I will congratulate you on the superb troll job. Good work!
Second, why do you think there are costumes? I don't see any Snoopy or Scooby Doo costumes. Why is that?

Very subjective and speculative. You admit to not having been since you were a child, "I went a couple times as a child and had a lot of fun. But I was a child.", so you have absolutely no first hand knowledge of the subject matter. It is very easy to understand why you don't "get it" having never been to experience it.
Talk about my having been.
Tell me I have no first hand knowledge.

To create jobs for pedophiles who otherwise would be unemployed and trolling the streets with no supervision.

I mean if you like other types of vacations that's cool. I'm not sure that talking trash by saying you've eaten at two restaurants really moves the needle.

Been to Vienna and would highly recommend it. Amazing city and if you can hit up the countryside it is even better. Salzburg and Hallstatt were also great.
