While compariing soil conditions on I-10 in NOLA East and I-10 in Gulfport might show some differences... comparing soils between Slidell and Waveland does not.

And like others said... you can instantly tell when you cross the state line on I-10... and I-55... and I-20... etc.

That rapid condition change has nothing to do with soils.
