One option we are looking at is possibly building a home there. What’s the story with Carter Plantation? Seems like they have a lot of available lots and didn’t notice any new construction going on. We would be looking at building a Level Home in the back.

Thanks

Kickass golf course and a pretty area. It is a bit out of the way though

I was planning to go talk to them and see what they had available long Laughing Gull Ln. so I could have boat access to the Blood River. We were looking to build our retirement home there. But after seeing the water they had in there during the flood we changed our mind and bought elsewhere.

Any idea how much water they got? I see they are building the houses much higher up now.

I'd take this with a little grain of salt. There is a difference between being prone to flooding and what happened during that flood. That was a once in many lifetimes event. Could still be flood prone, but I wouldn't eliminate it just from that one event.
