They bought some grocery stores in Jackson. Is this going to be another Rouse-type takeover?

No, sounds more like a “Shoppers Value” type store. Just googled Froogel’s and it’s one of those stores where they pretend to sell you everything at their cost and then they tack on 10% at the cashier.
Congratulations, your local grocery store is now running the same pricing model as a car dealership.
