We avoided this, and that’s probably the distinction between enthusiast and biker. We were members of HOG, but didn’t participate in their rides. We rode with a few close friends whose skills we knew and that didn’t drink before riding. All of our clothes had sleeves, too. Never went to Sturgis, either, although we rode the Black Hills.
