What’s the name of the tree with white buds around BR and Louisiana that smell so good?

In the spring they always bloom and I love the smell. What’s the name of the tree? They’re everywhere

It’s more of a huge bush. As tall as a tree but can be as wide as a building

Ligustrum are blooming now and they wreck my sinuses. Sweet olive blooms in the summer.
