Sat on the fricking runway for 3 hours with no A/C.

Maybe 20+ hours on the same plane? I had the most convoluted flight from Alaska. Everything went wrong. Mind you the trip was from Alaska to New Orleans.
So we flew to Pennsylvania just to pick up a few passengers then on to AL to drop off some, then to NOLA which was fogged in so back to AL which send us back to NOLA and we finally fricking landed. I had not been off the plane since i left Alaska about 30 hours before (Volcano in AK had messed up flight from the beginning)

Volcanic ash when flying at night is not drama, it is prohibited and makes engines cut out in mid air.
Without the explanation (aka drama) it makes no damn sense that a plane ride would be that long.

Landed in Seoul yesterday on a direct flight from Atlanta.

14 hours. DC to Kuwait and back every 6 months - when working as a contractor in Iraq from 08-11
13.5 hours. ATL to Dubai every 6 months - from 2013-2016 working as contractor in Afghanistan. Delta no longer does direct flights in and out of DXB. Now I usually fly KLM from DXB-AMS-ATL.
14.5 hours Dubai to Houston - flew back home for R&R once on Emirates. Was best flight I have ever taken.

Amsterdam to ATL is only a 8-8.5 hour flight. Same for Frankfurt to ATL.

10 hour flight from Sao Paulo...technically shorter, but seemed much longer due to the guy beside me with a cat in a pet carrier from there to Atlanta. He spoke Portuguese...so when they told him that the cat had to stay in the carrier, he nodded. As soon as the wheels came of the runway, he "let the cat out of the bag". It was a freaking nightmare flight from there forward.
