What's the go to way to set up a tv now?

new set outgrew my entertainment center.If I wall mount it where do i put all my dozen or so electronics connected to it? How about just a nice looking stand?

There are a lot of options for audio/video stands and cabinets.
Salamander Designs makes really nice stuff.

I'm a big fan of some type of media console table with the tv mounted on the wall over it. Something like this but with the tv mounted on the wall:

I have a cabinet that has my cable box, Xbox, av reciever, Blu-ray player and center channel speaker. TV is on the wall above it with all wires in the wall.

Yeah. The cover one is wall mounted but they have a lot of options. I've installed a few. It's really nice stuff.
I know they are expensive. However, they aren't cookie cutter. They can be configured to suit your needs. If you really have 12 devices connected to your TV (which I doubt) is $3000 for the cabinet really expensive?

do you have a small linen closet or hallway closet? If so, add shelves, stack all your shite and run wires/wireless if possible through walls. Look into RF remotes

Yeah but my wife and I did some sofa shopping a few weeks ago and that type of table was literally in every store from Rooms To Go to Bassett at all kind of price ranges. The MDF one's were about $300 with the nicer ones being in the $1K range.
