If we're all alone, its depressing. If we're not alone, its an existential crisis.

If the universe was truly infinite, then as we traveled far enough, we'd start to encounter exact copies of the solar system, Earth, and ourselves - due to sheer probability.
In an infinite universe life would be everywhere.
