I drove through it from Oneal and got on I12W about an hour ago. High speed chase from St Tammany with a newish Camery. About 20 cop cars between St Tammany sheriff and LSP. looked like the guy took a hard right on the overpass and went down the embankment and smashed into a tree between the on ramp and the service road. Good news is they won't have to tow it far since it ended up about 20 feet from the Toyota dealership.
All the cops looked like they had a blast.

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - Authorities said a high speed chase that reached speeds up to 115 mph ended with no injuries and a burglary suspect in custody Monday morning.
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office reported Lee Jackson, 33, of Baton Rouge, was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison as a fugitive from St. Tammany Parish. Deputies said he will be returned to St. Tammany Parish, where he will be booked on charges of aggravated flight from an officer, burglary and armed robbery.
The O'Neal Lane entrance ramp to I-12 West in Baton Rouge was blocked due to the chase ending near there. Authorities reopened the ramp in less than an hour. STPSO reported two troopers were able to stop a white Toyota Camry around 11 a.m. that they had been pursuing.
Investigators said Jackson broke into a home in St. Tammany Parish around 10 a.m. and held up the homeowner at gunpoint when he returned home. They added Jackson then fled the scene and the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office was later notified about the crime, which included a description of the car he drove away in.
Deputies tried to pull over the car, but it would not stop. STPSO deputies kept following the suspect and troopers joined the chase near the St. Tammany Parish-Tangipahoa Parish line and all agencies continued chasing it until the troopers were able to stop the car. The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office and East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office were also involved in the chase.

I could honestly envision BRPD doing a brake tag checkpoint on I-12
