If you are friends as well as colleagues also know/known the kid, then $50 seems fine.
If you are friends colleagues but don’t know the kid then $20

Depends on how close of a friend it is. Really good friends.. $100. People I know, who I talk to if I see, been knowing the family for a long time, but they not coming over to play cards or watch the game or anything like that. $50... Althought I gave someone $30 this year that I would have given $50 to, but I thought I had more cash on me that I did but only had a $20, $10 and some $1s so I gave $30.
Anyone remember back in the day having to do thank you cards?

Can $50 still buy a bag of weed? If so, then $50.

Zero.
Its a coworker, not a family member.
