Sober is pretty boring

That's the only time I want to drink is when I'm bored

Sounds like you need more hobbies

Working out? Reading? Take Otis to a nice park and go for a long walk? Get involved more with church(def social events there and no worries of alcohol being there)

Yes, I do. I've been building a sewing cart all weekend so I can start back doing that

And I did some reading and I cooked a few times

I definitely need to get involved in some church stuff

Could make new friends that way as well. Ones that could help encourage you.

Only thing I hate about my work schedule....I'm not really able to get involved at church like I should. I haven't even been in awhile cause of work and other stuff.

Do you have a Wii? Invite her and her son over and y'all 4 can play it. I suggest the bowling game.

Or how about invite them (or just her) over for dinner one night.

Once you get accuainted y'all could pop some popcorn and watch a movie.

Or if wanting to go somewhere, the zoo, actual bowling, roller skating with the kiddos, Christian music concert, church, laser tag/arcade (all of which is in north LA as well as south LA)

Yes, we have a wii. But the kids are way too cool for wii. But they both play Xbox. I do want to invite the son over also because it'll be really good for my son to have a friend so close. And while he won't admit it, he's a little shy so they won't ever hang out if I don't initiate it

I'm just going to invite them over for pizza and games or something. Not as big a deal as I made it out to be to not include drinking apparently

Start at Grimaldi's away from your home

I am headed out to have beers tonight and Grimaldi's is definitely off of approved places to go because of single skanks and their kids.
