Everyone acting like they're too good to have fun on a Carnival cruise, it's really not the flex you think it is. It's akin to the dorks that act like Taco Bell is auto diarrhea. If you can't have fun on a Carnival ship, you may just not be that fun.

Oh I didn't say we'd be having fun, at least not in the traditional sense. This would be literally a trip where we purposefully put ourselves in the biggest hotspots and strife points on the ship just to watch the shite go down.

I last went on a Carnival Cruise twenty years ago - when I was in my late 20's. We were broke as frick and booked it through discounts on AAA. The boat looked like the designer had just walked off the set of Miami Vice. There were trashy drunk people all over the place. Since then, the line has gotten demonstrably lower tiered... and this was already the lowest tier of cruises even then.

As someone who takes a cruise probably every 3-4 years, let me be completely honest with you here. There's a LOT to say about what greater points of enjoyment are available to you when you're willing to save up a bit more.

I wouldn’t even want to go on a cruise that’s nicer than a Carnival Cruise.

She should have figured that out after the first one. Must be against her religion to use birth control.

I'm doing 3 cruises just this calendar year I know what all the major lines have to offer. They all have pros and cons. I'd venture most people who say you couldn't pay them to sail Carnival have never been on one.
