Acquaintance who's been working in a hotel in Vegas for 8 years was just "laid off indefinitely" due to COVID-19

The Indian Casinos around Seattle are taking advantage of their sovereignty and staying open. I should probably go hit up a buffet.

Are they still paying out for old bets? I have some tickets I need to cash in.

You work for the post office, baw?

I would think spreading the virus on mail would be just as easy as on poker chips.

Take your big stack of $1 chips and go home loser. That $40 will help your mom pay your cell phone bill

Go to the main cage. They should have a way to pay you.

If not, some places have a mail in option and they can cut you a check by mail if you send it in.

These options are mainly from my Mississippi sports gaming.

How was the line to get in?

Someone in the state of Louisiana told casinos to limit entrants to X per casino.

So at the little boat in Morgan City, they were limited to 250 guests. So a line started to form outside for people to wait to get inside. Once the limit was reached, they could only allow the number that left in.

I am sorry and no medical expert, but lines are much more dangerous at spreading diseases than people sitting at machines playing.

Any other casinos doing the same?

I checked some casinos social media accounts, and they did mention the limits after I went there. There were comments from the casinos CEO talking about how they handling the virus response. In one I had to chuckle as one said that they have been preparing and ramping up cleanings since January 24.

The line reminded me of the time I went to Boomtown after Katrina. I believe, they were the first to open, and the line stretched across their mall area just to get in.

That 250 includes all the employees on the floor too. I'm going to hit up L'auberge later today. I'll take some photos if it's a shitshow.

Love playing craps. The last three times I’ve been it hasn’t gone too well. I’ve decided to take a long break again. I’ll go back to make some football bets this September

Every casino has a poker room. Not saying anyone is in them right now. But they have them.
