A couple years ago she said that she would have already had a statue built to her, had she been a white man.

She spent $2MM hoping someone made a statue of her.

Another huge miscalculation by the Dems...dismantled a very well run enterprise and left us with what we have today - abject lawlessness. There are a lot of smart and hard working children that could use the money that paid for that hair pick statue to buy food, books, computers, get a higher education.

I've never been a bleeding heart but some folks are so behind the 8 ball that they genuinely need help. Many disenfranchised school children do not have access to a square meal on the weekend and it significantly affects their ability to learn during the week.

This statue disgusts me in that it is an empty symbol of a failed regime.

The thing is she knows exactly what she’s doing. She took tax money from the people in Lakeview and the nice areas of Uptown and bought this atrocity with it. It’s a big old frick you to the white people left in this city. Yet Lester will be here soon to defend the city.
