You watched Waking Life recently didn't you?

I've seen it a few times, but it's been awhile. Always been interested in philosophy my whole life & took a few philo classes 2 years ago in college. I've always questioned aspects of life that has no easy answers.

But yea, that movie is fantastic. Opens up all types of thought processes that lead to original thought. Wish more people were into original shite instead of regurgitating everything they hear or read & shitting on ideas too lofty for them to put effort in trying to answer.

The Carthaginians defending the city were attacked by three Roman legions. The Carthaginians were proud and brave but they couldn't hold. They were massacred. Arab women stripped them of their tunics and their swords and lances. The soldiers lay naked in the sun. Two thousand years ago. I was here.

It is a really good movie for someone to watch if they are actually open minded. Did you know the study they did on the crossword puzzle in the scene that Ethan Hawke was in was a real study? I think there is definitely a quantifiable "thing," regardless of if we call it the collective unconscious or whatever else we wanna call it... its existence is legitimate. We have measured it on a tiny level.

I've been in a group think of sorts with over 100 people, and had this abstract idea that I wasn't able to articulate....and less than 30 minutes later had a person from the group grab the mic and speak exactly on the idea I had been marinating on that I hadn't told a soul of.

There def some kind of collective Wi-Fi going on between unplugged humans that lets us pool knowledge together and draw from each others' thoughts and energies. The techniques have been supressed

Harry: That's right, yeah. I've had a team working on this over the
past few weeks, and what we've come up with can be reduced to
two fundamental concepts... One... people are not wearing
enough hats. Two... matter is energy; in the Universe there
are many energy fields which we cannot normally perceive. Some
energies have a spiritual source which act upon a person's
soul. However, this soul does not exist *ab inito*, as
orthodox Christianity teaches; it has to be brought into
existence by a process of guided self-observation. However,
this is rarely achieved owing to man's unique ability to be
distracted from spiritual matters by everyday trivia.

[Pause.]

Max: What was that about hats again?

There are plenty of things that no one could explain 100 years ago.

Now we can.

Know how?

A little thing called "science".

There is a reason the Greek and Roman empires of BC do not exist as they did...too many bums sitting around thinking instead of doing something constructive.
