V-neck under button down in the cooler months. Nothing in the summer or under polo shirts.
Drives me crazy seeing guys in performance fabric golf polos with a cotton undershirt underneath. Defeats the whole purpose of the shirt.

B or C depending on the temperature or the shirt.
These are my new favorites:

They are cotton and not ribbed like most wife beaters. They also are a different cut and fit better IMO.

From the comments in this particular discussion I can conclude
We have very few people who are required to wear suits on a weekly basis
We have people very confused on polo protocol
Material and v-neck choices vary widely
Some of you are fricking slobs who accept rings around your shirts like tidal lines in your toilets and bathtubs.
