Thanks for your patience. As what sometimes happens in these matters, a few beers were had and things were delayed.

However, I do have some good news and bad news.

The bad news: odds are pretty solid we don't have a corpse. It's still possible, but no more likely than any one of us finding one. I want to please, but I'm no Tuiasosopo, I can't drag this out for months in hopes of finding a planting a corpse because one doesn't exist. I'm sorry if i got your hopes up, it was not my intention.

The good news: I think we have some kind of resolution, or at least a new beginning.

Finally, some movement. I've been watching the last few days closely and sporadically for several weeks. Never seen any movement morning, day or night. No cars, nothing.

Well, tonight someone was in there and there was a mini van. The real kicker is that someone moved the dog onto Santa's lap. I mentioned earlier that the attached dog was upside down this morning, I have pictures of it, well it was moved back. They're actively maintaining the display! But why?

I also learned that of someone who knows of them, not knows them, but knows of them. Neighbor I was with has friend who lives closer to the Santa house. No red flags, a couple. No one has any guesses why they'd be doing this unless it's some big troll of the neighborhood, for whatever reason one would do that.

So, the question remains, I guess more innocent question; what's their deal and why? I guess tacky>murderer.

We've made plans to put Mardi Gras beads on Santa. We tried tonight but they won't fit and need the real big ones.

TL;DR
-less likely someone is dead
-someone was home and signs of life were found
-they appear to be actively maintaining Santa display as dog was moved to Santa's lap
-The question changes. Do we get on them for being tacky?

No. I knocked on the door today about 4:45 and no one answered. Tonight was first sign of life I've seen since this started. We didn't want to knock on their door at 11 PM.

It's there. How do you post pics from your phone?

I couldn't get closer bc I didn't want to use flash at their house so needed to be under light. I'm not jumping through any more hoops.
