may be sick

the throwing up might change if you change cat foot brands

make sure the litter box is clean. and whatever they are going on. try to remove it.

it may be some sort of bladder infection that antibiotics could fix.

Why if it's declawed keep it outside. We had a cat get killed this way because of a neighborhood dog and he couldn't defend himself. Never again.

The peeing on the floor thing is often something indicating a sickness.. not even usually serious.. or emotional issues.
Was there any recent changes to the environment?

The throwing up is not a big deal either, just switch cat food brands until you find something they can hold down better.

Absolutely not. My goodness.

Sorry that happened to you, but that's not typical.

Cats probably stressed out. I had to put my cat on anxiety medicine a few times.

She's all good now.. learned the best way to get over her stress is to let it run it's course.

Ours did that except instead of "foyer" fricker decided to use our newborn twins's "cribs".

I did what any rational man would do (who's operating on 30 minute intervals of sleep): I shot put his crazy arse out the back door and he became an outside cat.

take it to a good vet. get some blood work. doesn't cost that much to find out what's going on. then decide how you should move forward.

Yeah any type of change can stress it out, such as changing of furniture, new future, new people, new anything.

I've had cats that looked on the verge of death from being sick.. and even one stupid vet at petsmart say they were gravely ill and had no chance. Went to an actual legit vet and it was a simple upper respiratory infection than very cheap antibiotics. The other vet was cool too, he didn't even make me bring in all my pets because they all had it.. He just gave me the medication for them all.

Had another cat ill one time so bad he straight up looked dead, all his problem was he had a fever with infection and was simply dehydrated. Sometimes it isn't always some ridiculous 4k cost and not worth putting them down over something easily corrected.

Any ways to the person saying they can't bond.. I have had tremendous bonding with cats who are rescues that at first were extremely skittish/wild and ended up being nothing but sweet and loving.. very much miss you when you are away and don't want to leave you when you return. Cats can take patience, not many people have this type of patience, or care.

Many people just straight up hate cats or do awful things to it because they are very much misunderstood or not cared for. I actually don't blame the cats for not initially always being so friendly with people..

Good luck to the OP, it really may just be a small infection of some sort. You could try some small amounts of colloidal silver in their water if you had any.. but I would change the food brand first to see if the throwing up stops. Some cat foods can actually eventually lead to urinary issues that can be corrected. Also, it may be beneficial to give them some outdoor grass to ease their stomach? Not sure. Do a good job of cleaning where they are going (vinegary is good for cleaning, don't use bleach on urine) and make sure their litter is clean again.

I have a 5+ yr old Lab/Border Collie mix and he is a wild mofo but a good buddy. I taught him many tricks(?) or responses to commands. Behaves great when we are one on one. Now I do have a 4 yr old black female cat who is friendly only to me and hides from other family members. I don't care for cats much but tolerate them. I taught her to sit, shake hands, and a few other things to get some treats.

With this said, I would be just fine with having a pet free home after 15 yrs of several pets.

Put it down humanly.

Take it to the vet preferably.... if not and lack funds, a .22 round will get the job done.

sorry to hear.

Whatever. Look lady I know you love your cats but you can get another one that won't cost you a mortgage payment and still die. Are you a veterinarian in addition to being a woman? Them vets love milking your wallet on a lost cause.
