Some women can't leave highschool behind.

And yet we know that women initiate over 70% of divorces. But you're going to continue to argue that they're not incentivized to do so. Your prerogative I guess.

Sounds like you need new friends. It'll catch up to them one day.

The Missus is going out of town next week for work, with her "work husband".

After reading this thread I would think there's an 88% chance he has her bowed up in the airplane bathroom before they even reach cruising altitude.

Does your wife actually refer to him as her "work husband"?

It's funny because it's true

I think I was the first one to bring it up.

I ask if someone else was her "work husband" one evening when she was telling me about her day and then she said that so and so would prob be her work husband.

She's going on the trip with so and so.

We aren't actually married, just been together longer than most marriages (almost 15 years).

I hope your joking.
Nothing good comes out of the "work wife or husband".

I talked to a married woman today (at work) found out her husband is a pilot. He's been in Europe all week and won't be back till after the weekend.
Didn't someone earlier say something about a "script"?
Also there are certain occupations that really just don't lend themselves to being good relationship maintaining careers.
I'm gonna add commercial airline pilot to that list.

Dude. Just...damn. Yeah. I would run a DNA test on her panties when she gets back

I don't think a script is even involved there.

Pilots and stewardesses and their spouses kind of have an understood fricking around will happen rule.

I'm not too worried about it.

But I will probably go ahead and cheat on her as a precaution.

I can't run a DNA test on her panties when she gets back because she said she wasn't packing any. Is that a red flag?

Probably 50-60%. Louisiana law makes it really convienient for women after a divorce by using the excuse that the child needs the same quality of life at both homes. Women can keep their same lifestyle without the husband until the father is no longer required to pay child support. It doesn't cost 300-400/month to give a kid fruit loops and clothes. The worst part is that even if the father excels in his career, he has to pay more to the mom. Child support calculations should be done 1 time at the time the divorce is final, and if one parent works hard and makes more money, they should not be penalized for that. It's truly sad.

Disagree, for kind of the opposite of what you said. My ex was getting almost $1500 a month from me for child support. That was based on my salary and hers at the time and that she was paying daycare. Well, less than a year went by, and she asked if I would start paying the daycare and just deduct it out of her CS I had to pay. I took her back to court, and came to find out she had two raises at work that she didn't report. When all was said and done, they recalculated that I was paying the daycare and insurance, plus her two pay raises. I walked away with not having to pay her anything anymore.

I guess this thread asserts that one should expect to be cheated on, and if not, consider it a miracle?
