With all the pay for item and shipping you have bound to have seen your share of internet scammers. The number of pay/shipping scams is crazy with the few items I move on FB marketplace.
I rarely see scammers as buyers on eBay (if any). I think most of the scammers on eBay pose as sellers, not buyers.
Now, FB marketplace is horrible, like most know.

What'd you pay for those items, roughly?
Right around $500

Yeah, I quickly learned to add the 'no shipping' statement to my listings.

I’m a single mother with 5 kids. Would you be willing to donate this item, or give it to me at half price, and deliver it? Also, throw some extra things in with it. If you don’t acquiesce to my demands you are a bad person and taking advantage of a single mom.

These threads are awesome. I do wonder how big your goodwill trips are for all the stuff that doesn’t pan out.

I'd like doing this right up to the point that I have to make ebay posts, pack and mail at the post office. So I guess I could just do the treasure hunting part.

Somebody paid $30 (or $40 with shipping) for a used pair of chucks?!?
A new pair only costs $50
