It wasn't the internet that made them obsolete, but man I sure miss those Nintendo Power magazines...

I don’t know if you’d count them as magazines, but growing up I loved getting the Smokey Mountain knife works, cabela catalogs and then my grandfathers gun and hunting magazines.

Fun fact. In Baton Rouge your library card gets you access to digital versions of tons of magazines from National Geographic and Popular Science to Rolling Stone and People.

I read them on occasion when trying to sleep or waiting in doctors office.
