Something like this is my dream home. Southern Acadian with brick, stucco, wood exterior and a lot of trees

Eichler home.

Imitated here in Baton Rouge (maybe not so well), and known as a Crawford home.

I love this.

I'm a big fan of A. Hays Town.

There's also a house on Highland that I LOVE and it's for sale...

Every time I pass it, I just love looking at it. I call it "my house" and always point it out to my friends. When I saw it was for sale, I got really excited. And then I remembered I'm probably getting out of Baton Rouge within the year.

Oh yeah, and I don't have millions of dollars.

Acadian, stairs on the front porch.

The wife and I are kicking the idea of building a new, small house. It will be a Acadian style, two bedroom, two bath. Keeping it under 1400 lsf is a problem. Hell, would be more then happy with something under 1k LSF.

There is no reason for us taking care of a 2600LSF house now.
