its a hot topic so all the sheeple will focus on this subject while congress passes TPP and you all know nothing about that. Bring in more immigrants from all over the world for cheap labor! Any big corporation can request, let's say, 10,000 Pakistans instead of hiring US workers. Voila! The US government will allow it.
Read up on that trade agreement the Republicans and Democrats(one and the same now) passed.

People are idiots. Sometimes I just shake my head over what people get "offended" at. I'm a yank and know that the confederate flag didn't symbolize slavery, it was about southern pride. I just don't understand stupid people...

no shite? except for my Indian ancestors...i had zero family here until after the civil war. so you're not going to upset me by saying the south surrendered. nice try though. you may get somebody with that.
my argument has nothing to do with the Civil War....but i guess you agree with wiping out any history that may offend someone.

I don't think anyone supporting the removal of the flag today were present during the end of the civil war.
Therein lies one of the real motivations to this new push. They are trying to equate this as Liberals=Union and Conservatives=Confederacy.

I find it amazing that anyone who supports the battle flag is automatically called a redneck, backwoods, racist, etc. However if he was to use similar terms to describe a minority, he would be banned. The double standard here is disgusting. I guess the last people in the US that it is ok to discriminate against are Southern, white, males. If it is a muslim who commits a terrorist act it is an individual, not his group. Hell, the Liar in Chief will go out of his way to proclaim that Islam is the Religion of Peace and the VA will say that the victims at Ft Hood were not the victims of a terrorist attack. Let a crazed individual kill people and the Flag is the cause of it. May God have mercy on this country.
