re: What is the worst thing you’ve ever smelled?

I hit a buzzard one time that was too busy eating whatever was in the road to fly away. Buzzards have a defense mechanism to vomit and blow their bowels all at the same time.

This occurred a microsecond before I hit it so it splattered that stuff all over my hood and windshield.

It was about 10-15 seconds before the smell came through the AC. Got stopped, puked in my floorboard. Got out of truck and puked again while using my shirt to clean off the windshield. Drove to the farm and finished cleaning it up. Kept smelling it, so I opened up the cabin filter and it had about a cup of that crap in it. Ended up having to take the dash out, clean everything including the vent hoses\tubes.

Without a doubt horrible.

Worked the back of a garbage truck in high school. The aroma of that stew of ingredients on a 95 degree afternoon was not for the timid.
