In grade school, I think it was 5th or 6th grade, I had a classmate who was super annoying/cocky/and a little bit of a bully. I couldn’t stand him. When the teacher left the room one time I announced to the class “who hates (his name) raise your hand!” People laughed and some raised their hand. I later found out his parents got a divorce, which was probably one of the reasons he acted out. I actually became sort of friends with him a couple years later, but I don’t think I ever apologized. I sort of want to just call him and apologize now, but I think that would be more for my benefit than his. He probably forgot about it a long time ago and would prefer not to be reminded of it.
Sort of.

Slept with a friend/coworkers sister.. really, dated for a few months. posted about it on a forum in detail, my friend saw me posting on the forum at work one day months after we broke up and signed up, people on forum pointed him to my posts. He told his sister, several angry texts later I get "rot in hell you fat frick". I knew I was the a-hole in the situation and any apology was not going to so anything so all I could do was let the fireworks go and laugh. It was a great lesson in mixing internet with real life for me.
Still friends and co-workers

19 years old: burnt up a Toyota Corona because I failed to have the oil changed and it ran low. I made it from Hollywood Street exit in NBR to Acadian exit when white smoke was coming out of the exhaust pipe. My dad was pissed big time. The next morning I found a $400 dollar pinto that was for sale in Central.
I did the same to a Corolla around age 19. Decided I hated it and wasn't dumping any more time or money into it. It made it about another year before something in the engine block broke on the middle Causeway Approach.
I bought an '86 Buick Century and it was twice the car the Corolla ever was. Everything about that vehicle just worked well: no more dodgy carburetor, no more weird electrical problems, no more dorky blue pussy-repellent in my life.

True but he’s a man just trying to take care of his family. Yes, he was an a-hole but he had a job and I may have been a huge reason why he lost it. He was a dick but looking back on it he didn’t deserve to lose his job over it. I will always regret doing what I did. In the end the hate I had for him ended up being my own poison because what I did will live with me forever.
How in the world do you feel guilty about this? You, me, and every other decent, hardworking person has to earn our fricking paycheck everyday and that doesn't include being a toxic, manipulative a-hole.
I'm so sorry the rules apply to him too

This is a load of crap. Did you make up any of the stuff on the tape? No, this guy hung himself with his own actions. He was a toxic employee that needed to be dealt with.
This is true. I just sometimes feel like I should’ve gone out without saying anything and moved on. But maybe I saved someone else from dealing with his crap. Oh well, I can’t change the past and can only move forward. I do know that he did land back on his feet afterwards so I guess no harm no foul!
