So this means a probate attorney cares to take the time to learn them? Do you know how the world works?
You're aware successions is in the civil code. You think I want to try my hand at that and commit malpractice?

WC attorneys don't make a fee on medicals paid to doctors
You have no idea what you're talking about. What do you do for work?

Thats a tricky lie, sir.
You route the claimant to docs who play their part, they send you a $100,000 bill and lien the claim, then the claim settles and you negotiate the lien to 20k (previously agreed) creating 80k in free legal fraud that you added soooo much value to create
So don’t play dumb like the process isn’t worked by trickery. You aren’t the Boy Scout here.
OP, call the department of insurance they will help you. You can also reach out directly to LWCC general counsel and they will help you.

Are you fricking retarded? LWCC pays the bill directly
Idiot

You telling me the insurer of last resort doesn’t take care of claimants? Say it ain’t so

So for you have said LWCC pays ALL the bills directly and you dont get a penny off medical bills
Yet half the billboards in the state beg for workers comp claims.
Crazy. sounds like you all work for free. Couldn’t possibly be you are hiding how the process works once you have a claimant represented.
Go away.

Just know that this was a last resort because LWCC doesn’t allow you to return to work until you are released.
This is not totallly accurate. The treating physician makes a determination whether an injured person can retrun to work at eitherfull or limited duty. If limited it is the discretion of the employer whether they ca accomocate someone on limitedd uty status within the limitations set by the doctor.

Medical bills have no effect on what a lawyer might receive. Medical costs are on WC claims are set by a fee schedule per the procedure code.

The better answer is, if it is really necessary, is to call the state insurance
board.
The Department of Insurance has no involvement in resolving WC issues. The Office of Workers Compensation administers WC matters. They don't intervene in specific claims due to complaints. The injured party has to file a lawsuit and the matter is decided by anadministrastive judge if the parties cannot resolve it on their own.

Most states don’t allow settlements in WC. Louisiana does. The game is needing current medicals then projecting say 1mm in future medicals.
Most states don’t allow settlement on WC medicals because its terrible public policy to suggest someone needs 1mm in future care but then we leave them with only 60-80% of that because they take a lump sum. Its clearly inflated and fictitious numbers in the first place

There hasn’t been an updated fee schedule in over 20 years.
WC carriers pay 90% of the billed amount.

Yup. That loomis guy is probably Downsy.

This is exactly why insurance rate rates are so high. I have excruciating back pain every day, yet I still go to work.
