As a Tyvek rep here in La I appreciate you being aware of a good install. I would subtly let him know. Better to know and be able to fix then pay thousands to resolve a water / mold issue. Have him call Tyvek and they will forward him to his local rep and they will come out at no charge to address install issues.
Thanks, I didn't know y'all would come out to the house like that. That's a really good service.

Anyway I know the contractor is probably feeding him some BS about caulk, in my experience you don't want caulk being your only line of defense at keeping water out of your house.

Majority of contractors are hacks and don't know squat. Amazing how you can get a contractors license and have no experience or knowledge of the trade. Ton of people out there who use someone else's license as well.
Let's watch hgtv, get awesome signs, buy some general liability, get my cousin who is a electrician but has a GC license to let us build under him and make bank! These clowns are by the dozen in lakeview, old Metairie, etc.
Which is why "To Catch a Contractor" was so entertaining. He loved doing that show as much as the Man Show.
