It's a little crooked and looks like an anteater. I know you're in!

Professional moving company or borrowed Mexicans from home dept parking lot?

I always use the Mexicans and tip them a case of beer and bag full of $1 double cheeseburgers or little Ceasers pizzas.

My company paid for my last move and I tipped the crew of 4 $100 when they were done.

I'm glad to see the majority of people realize $20/man is the normal thing to do.

Just like waiting tables: most people know how to tip so it makes up for the idiots who round up to the next dollar.

you all realize that the guys doing the actual moving don't get paid all of the money that the moving company gets paid, right?

Nor should they. The moving company pays for insurance (for the company), insurance (for the movers, which is probably high), vehicle maintenance, advertising, someone to take the calls, payroll, etc. And of course taxes.

Why does every person need to be tipped? Moving companies already overcharge. If it's friends and family, tip them with cold beer and hot pizza. Any other, thanks for the business

I agree with this, I don't understand why I should tip people for doing their job. I wouldn't have any qualms about having drinks and some food for them to snack on to keep them going but why would I tip someone charging a fee?

I am a concrete guy, would you tip me if I told you that I would charge you a grand to do a pad at your house? The answer should be no, I told you a price and don't expect a dime more than what we agreed to.

If you want to tip them, tip them but they shouldn't expect anything.

Lift with your legs, not your back. That's the only tip they are getting.

Hi there, we all know that moving from one place to another is a hectic task and we have to take care of each and every belongings. We also have a fear of damaging fragile items. Professional movers are highly trained to make your moving go smooth. Recently, when my friend was shifted to her new house she hired professional movers in Manhattan
(LINK ) who provided her quality moving service. According to her, they also helped in arranging the stuff. She was very happy when the work was done and gave them coffee and a good tip. I think the tip is the reward for getting the work done in a good way.
