Just like every night. Pass out from exhaustion after working all day and then chasing my 3 year son around the house until he passes out while my wife puts our infant daughter to bed. 50/50 shot I make it to my own bed vs falling asleep in his room. Will then wake up probably 2 hours into the new year and definitely go to my bed. Wake up at 6 am and go for a run. Wouldn't trade it for anything.

Nice Spanish restaurant as always.

going to an overpriced hotel event downtown. Long lines, shitty music, bar that runs out before midnight...should be a great time!

I was going to go see beauty and the beast in New Orleans but it'll be too packed to find a parking spot near the Saenger at a reasonable price. Backup plan is staying home and eating good with the family.

I'll be at work. I'm gonna bring some sparkling apple cider and noise makers and bubbles and hats for any of my patients that are still awake around midnight.
Honestly not really upset that I'm working. NYE has become such an amateur night that unless you have a cool party to go to...not worth dealing with all the drunks on the roads. The hospital ERs sadly stay very busy that night(I can usually count 5-6 helicopters flying overhead that night bringing traumas from various car accidents). Whatever you do, please be safe!
