What if balaclavas were more prevalent in American fashion?

People's faces would probably benefit during winter if rocking a balaclava was more acceptable. Downside i guess is it would probably seem to be easier to rob banks and what not. Would also be tough to distinguish civilians from gang bangers but I mean the Russians get by. Dear Facebook,
