To me,Trump's election is the last ditch effort to maintain power by the Boomers. The country has been headed in a different direction..They don't like it so they came out from the woodwork and suburbs to vote for someone to shake it all up.

I realize there are other demograhics that voted for Trump, but I am of the belief that it's mostly Boomers that grew up with Trump being a prominent figure in society that voted for him. I'll readily admit that I haven't seen the numbers on the demographics of Trump voters and I could be totally wrong, but that is just what I've gathered anecdotally. Lots of Boomers that support him with unwavering blind loyalty.

It represents that HRC is still a private citizen. And that is a good thing.

Those suck.

They suck in the short term as commodity prices skyrocket when you have no manufacturing base left but if youre in it for the longview and not the all-american, greedy, quarterly view then as domestic production ramps up so does high-quality, skilled employment. The current batch of adults working wage-slave service industry jobs can get back to proper "raise a family" level employment and clear the way for teenagers to fill-in at the service industry jobs adding the side benefit of teaching work-ethic and responsibility to young adults and taking many off the street and occupying their idle time keeping them out of trouble.

All this coming from a Friedman libertarian.
