Where all have you worked? Previous employers and industry.

What is your name?

Mine looks like it did 25 years ago but with more words.

I'm self employed but still have to submit f'n resumes' to clients occasionally.

Experience:

I have helped African-Americans recover from societal oppression.

I pushed down a little old lady because she was wearing a fur coat.

For the past five years, I have worked as an online voluntary consultant to help those who were oppressed by Donald Trump's Presidency.

I use my degree in LGBTQUEKAODKDFXIK studies to counsel those who will face marginalization by our patriarchal society.

Today's resumes include a ton of spelling and grammatical errors.
These crap resumes on my desk look like someone from the Advocate wrote them.

Format is overrated. What matters is writing your accomplishments in a concise and easily readable manner.

Don’t just list jobs and what your boring responsibilities were. List the 1 or 2 best things you actually accomplished there - “Saved xxx $$$ via some project” or “exceeded sales goals by xxxx %.”

The resume isn’t broken so there’s no reason to fix it. I like when there’s a cover letter so I can see if they’re arse at writing.

Cake resume is nice, but I find this one to be much more impressive:

Google Doc

Look at that Microsoft experience!
