Reminds me of a joke the late Gary Plauche' told at a bar we were at one night...
I was on a 1st date with a girl one night and things were going really well. We start making out and she asked me to kiss her where it stinks.
So I drove her to Bogalusa and kissed her.

When doing an imitation of him, I say "Bettin' Rudge" and I've always heard that it's the most sonicaly accurate depiction.

No, they are quite different actually. Tabby was old Bottoms/South Baton Rouge. Kip's is Scotlandville/N. Baton Rouge.
