He’s been wanting it for 5 years. People with autism often have obsessions and to be honest, he will probably love that tattoo forever just like it was the first day he got it. Can’t say that for most people.

Well apparently he has the cognition to make the decision and should be allowed to.
Yet, if I was the owner of the shop, my main concern and cause of my potential denial was due to the safety of my employees and the kid himself.
Severely Autistic people can be unstable and can occasionally have sudden violent outbursts.
I’d need to be comfortable that that wouldn’t happen and/or the signing or legal release forms.
Either way, good for the guy. I’m glad he got what he wanted
