I had an aunt pass away last year from pancreatic cancer. She already had leukemia, but to my knowledge, it was under control.

All of a sudden, she lost a lot of weight and was jaundiced. Within 1.5 weeks of being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer she passed away. In reality, it was probably a good thing that she died so quickly.

Being framed for something. I don't go around being paranoid but I feel that would be terrible. Having your family (kids) and friends think you are a monster when you didn't do anything would not be pleasant.

Yeah, it was tough to deal with. Her oldest daughter was getting married just a week later.

That's the scariest part about it, there are virtually no symptoms, until it's progressed. Then, BAM. When you get to stage 4, from what I've read, it's basically about making yourself comfortable in your final days/weeks/months.

Hopefully, in the near future, we will have nanobots constantly monitoring our health for things like this.

Not to mention that my cousin, her oldest son, is a total shitshow that makes me look like a boyscout.

The wedding was a blast, though. Weird steampunk ceremony at Sloss Furnace in Birmingham. Not as sad as one would expect it to be.

Cancer.
My fear of cancer is actually why I'm awake right now.

I know this sounds cliche, and far too simple, but you really can't worry about things you can't control.

This is why I take stairs and avoid tunnels.

I hope I'm being overly worried, but I hope to have some answers soon.

I have an amazing life. Husband is just wonderful, great kids, security,a new business. Just the best time in my life. Maybe I'm just waiting on the other shoe to drop or something.

It takes a lot of practice, especially for those with more neurotic tendencies (no offense), but it can be done. If you find yourself worrying about random shite, you should really give a good go at it.
