Low income apartments. Our city leaders love to bring down the nice areas.

That Ideal Market is great and a lot of people in the Gardere who never had access to fresh produce that close is great for them. I go there once weekly.

I know it’s frustrating to see new apartments constantly going up everywhere. It’s the complete ghettoization of everywhere. Here in Katy, we have more apartments being built. And not coincidentally, the area is not quite as nice as it was when I moved here ten years ago.

That’s why zoning is incredibly important. Unfortunately, it’s easy for the developers to get approval to do whatever they want…which is eventually turning what were and could be really nice areas into shite.

Every new apartment should be demolished and residents evicted. It will be sad to see what eventually becomes old New Orleans style projects at Burbank and Lee making the surrounding areas of LSU’s campus even more dangerous than it is.

Not helped by the federal government playing landlord and deliberately placing trash into communities they can’t otherwise afford to live in. Biden campaigned on doing that which makes any Biden supporter living in the suburbs even stupider.

Apartments aren’t bad unless they are hud, sec 8 or other rent subsidies …. Then it goes downhill
