My kids have a Schwinn and Mongoose - not because they asked for those brands but because they liked the style\color. Looking at the bikes of their friends, it does not appear that there are any more popular over the others. Unfortunately, Fornite skins and iPhones are what they are more concerned with.

Mongoose is fine. The mongoose from Walmart isn't. Just like when you see a John Deere in Home Depot. It ain't the same John Deere from an authorized dealer.
