So this gives you your answer about snobbish people at Catholic.

I know somebody whose kid commuted back and forth to Ben Franklin for a while until they finally threw in the towel and moved to NOLA. I don't know how they managed to finagle it. I guess they had some stroke with somebody.

Runnels actually is a pretty decent private school, not sure where you get your assumptions from.

Yep. A few kids who got kicked out of Episcopal, plus Lewis Unglesby's dumbass kid who vandalized U-High and got kicked out, all ended up at CLA because they'll take anybody.
It is possible to get kicked out of there, though, as I know two people who it happened to.
One was the guy I mentioned upthread, who managed it by getting caught with two other baseball players banging a pair of sophomores. The other is a girl I dated once who got kicked out over a failed weed test.

As a black guy , i thought I would never be accepted in private schools( and parents couldn't afford it for 3 children) but a brother I knew who went to U high smashed a lot of poon. Some of them very fine white girls. and he was not good looking

I'd say that's because they come from families that are far and away well off and have advantages regardless of where they go to high school.
Runnels weirdness come from the way the course load is structured and taught. Personally I think it makes for a much more rounded person than the disdainfully arrogant and supercilious attitudes of those from Catholic, St Joes, U High, and Episcopal.
