Similar: this feature where your car stereo keeps playing after you turn off the ignition, and then only stops when you open the driver's door.
It started as a GM thing but it's leached down to others... including Subaru, FFS. Usually Subaru is so good about keeping falderal like that to a minimum.

Chikfila cows misspelling words. They are smart enough to fly a plane but they can’t spell chicken correctly?? COME ON MAN!!
