It really is.

Civils were making 50-60k coming out of school while Petroleum’s were getting $100k+ and big signing bonuses right out of school.

It would take a Civil at a minimum, 5 years to reach 100k lol.

They hear the name Walmart, and automatically think no money.

I think most adults with some understanding of the marketplace realizes that the store managers are making bank.

They work crazy hours and have a lot of responsibilities.

Sales in general

My friend works at Toyota makes well over 300k a year in finance. Guy at Sprint I ride with makes over 100k with ease.

If you have the personality. Sales makes you major dough with little to no real work required.

Depends on your definition of "real work".

Sales folks that kill it damn sure work their arse off. They may make it look easy, but they are working hard.

Lineman is the “baw” job of North Carolina. The equivalent of an operator here. Really never heard of it as a job option until moving here.

I’ve heard they make around 150K. Grocery managers can make close to 100k before managers. Shoot assistant managers usually make 65-70 before bonuses.

Negative ghost rider. There are several factors that determine a managers salary. What you quoted is the top 10% of those positions.

Notice I said salary. Bonuses are not factored into what I said but then bonuses are factored on 3-5 different criteria depending on your position.
