And Food keeps coming up on these lists in this thread. F'ing shreveport is even a better food town than Baton Rouge other than LSU tailgating. And that says something about how limited the food selection is in Baton Rouge.

This. People keep saying lots of restaurants, and that is just false

You realized the link listed a bridge as the #1 thing in Chattanooga and an Imax movie theater was in top 20?

If BR can count bridges and movie theaters as attractions, I think you will have a hard time coming up with 20 more things to do in Chattanooga.

There are some pretty good hidden gems in BR and enough spots to keep me satisfied on a short-term basis. Of course, they are hidden for a reason because the average BR citizen, as I've encountered, has no idea they exist and have no interest in expanding their bubble or exploring new options.

And it should. Not bc BR "perfected" a cuisine or has world famous restaurants, but bc they have access to food most of the country does not.

Many threads on FDB consist of, where's the best poboy in BR? Where to get live/boiled crawfish? Boudin? Most of America can't even ask those questions. Not saying it is the best, but it is an asset.

chattanooga has so much on BR... it really isn't even close.

As a neutral observer, this is undoubtedly true.
