Not necessarily “weird” but I’ve never seen so many people around my neighborhood during the weekday when I go for a walk at lunch. Kids, families, joggers, bicycles, dogs, etc. everywhere. It kind of reminds me of weekend summer days growing up in a small town, minus any baseball games.

My parents are 60 and 61 years old. They never got along overly well as mom was always very financially stable and dad was more of a live and let live type of guy. So mom deciding to divorce dad about two years back wasn’t a big surprise.

Still delightfully really not used to the 15 minutes it takes to get to work in the morning when it usually takes 30, and how if I push it, I can get back home in 10 minutes in the afternoons when it would take 30+
Also the fact that’s the supermarkets look like the early stages of a zombie apocalypse is still pretty surreal
