Wednesday Night Wrestling Wars Thread: NXT TakeOver: In Your House Go Home Edition

Quite a bit of wrestling news as we get into another fun rasslin thread
In case you haven't heard... former US Marine Jaxson Ryker is MAGA AF... and that's not going over well with the WWE locker room
Needless to say... the reaction from the rest of the wrestling world has been overly negative to Ryker... with even his own tag partner & fellow former Marine Steve Cutler distancing himself from Ryker
Also... if you listed to Wrestling Observer Radio over the last couple nights... Bryan Alvarez read a text he got from someone inside WWE who had a VERY negative view of Nia Jax... saying she should be fired before she kills somebody... and put the blame for Kairi's injury from this past Raw squarely on Nia instead of Kairi as had previously been reported
Also... as a formality since he's now back in the NFL and why he lost the WWE 24/7 Championship during Monday night's Raw... Rob Gronkowski has been released from his WWE contract
A lot of gold is on the line between both AEW Dynamite and NXT's go home show tonight
AEW Dynamite is from the mostly empty Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Fla. and 2 titles will be on the line during tonight's show
Kenny Omega & "Hangman" Adam Page defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Kip Sabian & Jimmy Havoc
"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes defends the AEW TNT Championship against Jungle Boy
"Le Champion" Chris Jericho battles "Boom Boom" Colt Cabana
Nyla Rose faces Big Swolle
Tony Skee-uh-vone will have an exclusive interview with the newest additions to the AEW roster... Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler, FTR
Brian Cage gets to murder someone legally as Jon Moxley watches on

NXT on USA is at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Fla. with some of the trainees looking on
Tonight we will find out who will hold the mantle of WWE Cruiserweight Champion until Jordan Devlin returns with the Finals of the interim Cruiserweight Championship Tournament as El Hijo del Fantasma takes on the previously "future endeavored" Drake Maverick. Can Drake force his WWE career to continue on following his Black Wednesday release?
The only other match WWE is promoting for NXT tonight is the continuation of the feud between Mrs. Wrestling Candice LeRae and the HBIC Mia Yim
NXT will also have "Prime Target" previews of this Sunday's 2 big title match... the NXT Women's Championship triple threat match of Io Shirai vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair and the NXT Championship match between Adam Cole & Velveteen Dream

Tony Khan has banned Hulk and Linda Hogan from all AEW events. I'm sure they're both devastated by that news. Tony might also want to get his facts straight, they haven't been married for years now.

AEW has been a SJW company from the start. They did quiet down on a lot of that crap over the last few months, but at their core that’s what they are.
Also, they’re full of shite and hypocrites like most all SJW’s everywhere. They virtue signal for social media likes and preach all of their nonsense, but in reality they only have like what? 3 or 4 black employees on their entire roster of 40-50.
They’re so “woke”, yet it’s only those “EVIL” white men who dominate their main event scene.

To be fair, there aren't a lot of black wrestlers at this level. Its not like you can put together a good roster of 50 wrestlers with half of them being black. They did just have a man as their women's champ for several months, and the other two women's champs are Japanese.

There are far more than enough black wrestlers at this level out there. WWE doesn’t have an issue hiring them and using them at all levels of NXT and the main roster. There are plenty out there on the independents that AEW could bring in, but they don’t.
Just saying, if you want to claim you’re the “woke” company in the business, you can’t be doing the exact opposite by not hiring a reasonable percentage of black talent.
Again .. THEY chose to play the SJW virtue signaling game, so they need to practice what they preach.
