Wednesday Night Wrestling Wars Thread: NXT Only - The Blackheart Returns Edition

The criticisms over Keith Lee's debut have been heard and some reports are coming out that things could change for him... and soon.
Some interesting notes have come out since all the complaints about Lee... including WWE is trying to move away from music made in conjunction with CFO$ since the deal with them & their producer for the music is apparently very bad for WWE... hence why Keith Lee's NXT theme is no more. That's also bad news for fans of Undisputed ERA's entrance theme should they ever get the call-up
But the generic theme Lee had for Raw is apparently just a placeholder as one twitter user noted Lee should have a new theme (with lyrics) for this Sunday's Payback
As for his appearance... i.e. t-shirt & baggy shorts... Lee himself says he's working on that and fans should have patience
Why did the Dark Order murder Cody on Saturday? So Cody could be written off TV of course. Cody is supposedly getting time off to shoot a TV show with Stephen Amell for a role that Amell specifically asked Cody to play
A former WWE booker has revealed that no one in the company believed in Kpfi Kingston when he won the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania last year... and the moment the decision was made to put the belt on Kofi... it was also decided almost immediately that he would lose it to Brock in a squash
Karrion Kross says he does not expect to miss significant time with the shoulder injury suffered at TakeOver XXX... which is great news
There may be a special person at NXT tonight...
Yep... Wade Barrett is supposedly back for a 1 night only commentating gig for NXT tonight
Reminder that once again it's just NXT tonight since AEW is preempted to tomorrow night by the NBA playoffs... NXT on USA is at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Fla. and I decided to go east myself... b/c why deal with power outages when you don't have to... so I went to hang with my family in NOLA.
You will fall & pray to start NXT tonight as new NXT Champion Karrion Kross and Scarlett is set to open the show
Io Shirai & Rhea Ripley take on Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez
Tommaso Ciampa makes his NXT return amid rumors that he's causing all of WWE's funny glitches
The NXT Tag Team Titles will be on the line as IMPERIUM defend against Breezango
We find out who will be 1st in line to challenge Damian Priest for the NXT North American Championship
WWE/NXT Cruiserweight Champion Santos Escobar defends his title against Isaiah "Swerve" Scott... for like the 47th time right?

The NBA playoffs tonight have been preempted by the players being a bunch of crybabies. But Dynamite is still tomorrow. AEW is running the second half of All Out on youtube tonight featuring the Young Bucks vs Lucha bros ladder match. Its a can't miss for fans of flippy shite and ladders.
